Material, vendors and stock for interior studios

The problem
Material is where interior margins quietly disappear: plywood bought in bulk for three sites, hinges that went to the wrong flat, a vendor whose price changed last month. Without a store and a rate book, nobody can say what a site actually consumed.

Questions about material and inventory
Can I see which vendor is cheapest for a material?
Yes. Each material keeps rates from many vendors, and receiving material updates the last price paid.
Can my site supervisor record material without seeing purchase rates?
Yes. Recording inward and seeing the purchase rate are separate permissions.
Can I import my own material list?
Yes, from a CSV of up to 2,000 rows. Any bad row stops the import and the message tells you which row.
